CCNP recertification

Q: Does the CCNP recertification suit for different kind of versions. My customer mentioned that he has completed the routing and switching component of CCNP in the past with the old course, it is almost 3 years, so his certification are almost expiring, is it possible to complete the other modules - ISCW etc in their current version, even though routing and switching was completed with older contents?

A: If he passed BCSI and BCMSN he needs to pass THSOOT instead of ISCW and ONT and he'll get CCNP certificate.

Q: Does the version for each exams have to match? He's passed his routing and switching components 2 years ago and version have changed since then. Now that the version has changed, would he have to revisit and pass the new routing and switching components?

A: Versions doesn't have to match in case of version 5 and 6.

BCMSN from CCNP v5

BSCI from CCNP v5

TSHOOT CCNP v6

Will get him CCNP certificate this is the way I got my CCNP.

or

ROUTE v6

SWITCH v6

TSHOOT v6

Did it answered your question?
